Gateway Mission in The News…Gateway Mission was recently featured on FOX 17 as a local partner responding to the extreme heat wave impacting West Michigan. In coordination with Ottawa County Emergency Management, Gateway has opened its doors as a cooling center—offering a safe, air-conditioned space for anyone seeking relief from the dangerously high temperatures. During the segment, Gateway Mission’s Director of Ministry Operations, Scott Klingberg, shared the heart behind the effort: “We just want a place that offers safety and coolness. And ultimately, we would like to get them off the street.” This effort reflects Gateway’s continued commitment to care for the most vulnerable in our community—especially during times of crisis.
